Individual therapy provides an opportunity to take time to work through difficult periods in your life.
Together we can address issues related to stress, relationships, work, anxiety, and depression... to name a few.
My goal is to help you achieve your best relationship, whether that be by building trust, increasing effective communication, or deepening existing strengths. You may be feeling stuck, misunderstood or alone. These are all issues we can work through together by learning how to communicate and hopefully get back to the relationship you envisioned.
I commend you on making the decision to seek counseling for yourself or your child. I have worked with adolescents in a variety of settings.
Over the last 4 years, I worked with teens in the private and public school sectors as well as in private practice. I know firsthand what a challenging time this may be in your teen’s life, and hope to support them (or you) in creating happy, healthy lives.
Helping others find solutions to problems and issues is something that I’ve been doing as a counselor, friend, and sister for as long as I can remember. My training, education, and experience as a therapist, in conjunction with your commitment to the process, opens the space for personal growth. I value both evidence-based techniques and the therapeutic connection.
