THERAPY SERVICES

Therapy for the patterns that keep getting in the way.

Ilana Grines, LMFT, provides individual therapy, couples therapy, and sex therapy for adults and partners in Los Angeles and virtually throughout California. The work is candid, collaborative, affirming, and grounded in the belief that relationships, sexuality, and identity are never one-size-fits-all.

YOU MAY BE HERE BECAUSE

You understand the pattern, but understanding it has not been enough to change it.

The same conflict keeps repeating.
You feel anxious, disconnected, or unlike yourself.
Desire and intimacy have become complicated.
Your relationship does not fit traditional assumptions.
You want closeness without losing yourself.
You are ready for something deeper than surface-level advice.

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Find the kind of support that fits what you are navigating.

Each service is tailored to the person or relationship in front of me. You do not need to arrive with the perfect words or a neatly defined goal.

AFFIRMING ACROSS THE SPECTRUM

LGBTQ+ affirming therapy is not a separate corner of the practice. It is part of how I work.

I provide inclusive and affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and partners across all of my services. Your identity, sexuality, gender, body, and relationship structure will not be reduced to a problem that needs to be explained or defended.

MY APPROACH

Warm enough to feel safe. Direct enough to help something move.

Therapy with me is collaborative, conversational, and candid. We will look beneath the argument, shutdown, anxiety, or loss of desire to understand the needs, fears, and protective patterns driving it.

I am not here to hand you a generic checklist or decide what your life or relationship should look like. The goal is greater honesty, self-trust, emotional flexibility, and a deeper capacity for intimacy.

Sex-positive Sexuality is approached with openness, context, and without shame.
Relational We examine what happens within you and between you and other people.
Practical Insight matters, but we also work toward changes you can feel outside the room.
Inclusive Care is affirming of diverse identities, bodies, sexualities, and relationships.
